This is an update on all time SKABB League stats! To read previous iterations, there is one for the past three seasons:
Seasons 1-8
Seasons 1-9
Seasons 1-10
Seasons 1-11
Games Played
Across 12 seasons, a total of 1,125 games have been played. There has been a total of 3,057 touchdowns (an average of 2.72 per game) and 4,011 casualties (an average of 3.57 per game).
3 coaches have played over 100 games - Stew, Oli and Matt A who hit this milestone during season 12.
Touchdowns
The most touchdowns in a game has been beaten in season 11, with Stew's vampires scoring an 8-0 victory over Craig's dwarfs. This is also, unsurprisingly the most TD scored by a single team in a game.
7 touchdowns in a game has occurred 5 times:
Season 1: Oli's Skaven v Kias's humans (5-2)
Season 1: Pete G's slann v Kias's humans (4-3)
Season 2: Stew's elf union v Paul Brook's skaven (4-3)
Season 9: David Macey's skaven v Oli's slann (4-3)
Season 10: Tim's elf union v Ross's goblins (5-2)
And teams have scored 5+ touchdowns a total of 24 times. Those who have achieved it at
6 - Oli
3 - Stew A
2 - Marc, Dan, Pete A, Matt M
1 - Tim, Matt Ashley, Wes, Ron, Iain, David M, Simon
This was not achieved during Season 12.
In the all time most touchdowns chart, Stew has leads with 230 ahead of the departing Oli on 214. Craig, Damo and James all hit the100-mark during season 12.
In the best touchdown average, there is not too much change. Oli climbs a place and Elliott's average dropped meaning he dropped out of the top 10.
Season 12 saw a total of 104 games with 245 touchdowns scored (2.36 per game, down from 2.65 the season before) and 378 casualties (3.63 per game, down from 3.76 in season 11)
In terms of average touchdowns by season, unsurprisingly many championship winning teams feature. Oli's Norse team hold the lead for their 3.18 average in Season 2, followed by Stew's vampires that won season 11. The other championship winning team was Marc's season 5 dark elves. The fact that 7 of the rest of the top 10 didn't win the league shows that the game is about more than scoring.
Casualties
The most casualties in a game was surpassed last season, Oli's khorne played James's snotlings in the playoffs and there were 14 casualties in total (8 to Oli, 6 to James). The next best is 11, This beats the previous record of 11 which has occurred 3 times (Craig v Pete G twice and Craig v Matt A).
The most casualties by one team in a game is 8. Star Ferret achieved this against James this year (Ogres v Snotlings) and it has been previously acheived by Oli, Pete G and Marc.
Stew leads the most casualties which is to be expected having played the most games, but Oli ad Matt A both have over 250 each.
Obviously this is reflective of the number of seasons some coaches have played, so the Average Casualties provides more of a picture of who is the best at smashing. Star Ferret jumps into top place after one season with ogres, surpassing Luke Sykes who has held the spot for centuries.
No-one managed to break the best season average casualties this season. Most casualties for the season was Saul with a 3.0 average, but 3.08 or better is needed to enter the top 10.
Race choices
Orcs remain the most picked race, have been played 14 times. Chaos dwarfs enter the top 10 on alphabetical order, pushing nurgle out.
Unsurprisingly orcs have the most games played, but goblins are in second place as coaches have played them multiple seasons. Dark elves drop from 3nd to 6th as they have generally been a one season team.
Matt and Oli lead the way for diversity, having played 11 different teams each across the various SKABB Leagues. Matt should take this record in Season 13.
Win percentages
The coaches with the highest win percentages in the league using the NAF style of a draw is half of a win are below. Coaches need to have played 5 or more games to appear in this list. A number of these coaches are no longer playing for various reasons.
David E and Elliott both had strong numbers but only Elliott remained in the top 10 after promotion. After his double winning season, Damo climbs from 8th to 4th spot. Ross C had an impressive season and enters the chart at 8th.
Looking at similar statistics for races, we have the undead teams showing well with Necromantic Horror and Shambling Undead within the top 3 spots, with Tomb Kings in 5th. Snotlings jump from 6th to 2nd after James won the division this season. Necromantic Horror are unsurprisingly top with the league having been won three times with the race (Chris Wills, Marc, Alex). The only other race to have won the league multipe times is Norse (Oli and now Damo)
When looking at the best coach by race, there are wildly varying percentages between the, with a low 40% win rate being the best for Old World Alliance (expected to change soon), to a whopping 93% for High Elf.
Awards
Not many coaches have won multiple prizes. The below chart shows the "Big 3" - the overall championship, the cup and the glass. Damo is in a good place to take the top spot in this chat in Season 13, having won his first championship and being only the second coach to manage the championship and cup double.
As would be expected, Necromantic Horror lead the way int he race stats, with Damo's double putting norse into second place.
The full roll of honour can be seen below.

History
A bit of SKABB history regarding the naming of the awards:
SKABB Championship This award currently doesn't have an interesting story
Lance Tewgurlswan Cup Named after the legendary Norse star player (that seemingly only Oli has heard of). As the Cup has now been won three times by Damo, he will be retaining the trophy (like the World Cup) and will be able to name the new trophy. A new name has yet to be determined.
Gobbledigook Glass This was named after the goblin in Tommy's Sevens team who outfouled the entire league.
Hurty Boys Award For Hurtin' Good The most casualties award, named after the first ever winners, Archie's orc team, The Hurty Boyz.
Lance Tewgurlswan Award for Scoring Freely Also named after the aforementioned star player.
Foul Ole Ron Award for Services to Fouling This was named after Ron, nicknamed Foul Ole Ron who enjoyed kicking a player whilst they were down.
Nice Pete Award for Niceness This is the award for Player's Player of the Season, named after Nice Pete (and obviously not The Other Pete, who is actually rather nice despite what Oli says).
Fergus Alexson Award This is the Commissioner's Coach of the year, named after a famous coach from a sport where they don't tend to pick up the ball. Weirdos.
The Wyllie Cup This is a new trophy for the winner of the variant league we play between seasons. Named after league founder Oli Wyllie in honour of his services to the league.
